BANGKOK, Thailand — Bangkok is set to welcome the APP Asia Tour this November as the APP Asia Bangkok Open 2026 brings six days of international pickleball competition to Thailand from 17–22 November 2026 at ALM x IMPACT Tennis & Sport Center, Bangkok.
Set against one of Asia’s most dynamic sporting destinations, the Bangkok Open will bring together international professionals, leading Asian players and Thailand’s rapidly growing pickleball community for one of the key stops on the 2026 APP Asia Tour.
More than simply another tournament on the calendar, the Bangkok Open represents the continued rise of Thailand as an important pickleball market and provides Thai players with a new platform to compete alongside established international talent.

A Major International Pickleball Week in Bangkok
Over six days of competition, the Bangkok Open will transform ALM x IMPACT Tennis & Sport Center into a meeting point for some of the sport’s established international names and an exciting new generation of Asian talent.
The professional competition is expected to attract a diverse international field, while providing Thai players with the opportunity to compete at home against opponents from across the region and beyond.
The tournament will also welcome amateur competitors, creating an event that goes beyond professional competition and allows the wider pickleball community to become part of the APP Asia Tour experience.
For Thailand’s emerging players in particular, competing on the same tournament platform as international professionals represents an important opportunity to gain experience, exposure and a clearer pathway towards higher-level competition.
Thailand’s Pickleball Community Steps Onto the International Stage
Pickleball’s momentum across Thailand has continued to accelerate, driven by new courts, clubs, tournaments and an expanding community of players.
The arrival of an official APP Asia Tour stop provides another important building block for that growth.
Rather than requiring aspiring Thai athletes to travel overseas for international competition, the Bangkok Open brings that international environment directly to Thailand — allowing local players to measure themselves against regional and global opposition on home soil.
At the same time, the event will introduce visiting international players and supporters to Bangkok, combining world-class competition with one of Asia’s most recognised travel and sporting destinations.
International Pros. Asian Contenders. One Bangkok Stage.
The Bangkok Open is expected to feature a strong line-up of international professionals alongside leading players from across Asia.
That combination is central to the vision of the APP Asia Tour: creating meaningful opportunities for the region’s best players to compete against international opposition while developing a stronger professional tournament ecosystem within Asia itself.
As more events are established across the region, players have greater opportunities to compete internationally, build their profiles and pursue professional careers closer to home.
Bangkok will become another major meeting point for that growing community in November.
Part of the Expanding APP Asia Tour
The APP Asia Tour connects a growing network of tournaments across major Asian markets, creating an international competition pathway while supporting the development of pickleball at both professional and grassroots levels.
Each Tour stop has its own character — and Bangkok will combine high-level competition, international participation and Thailand’s vibrant sporting culture to create a distinctly Thai edition of the APP Asia experience.
With players travelling from across Asia and beyond, the Bangkok Open will also provide another opportunity to showcase Thailand’s ability to host major international pickleball events.
